Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have ruthlessly killed 109 Ukrainian children. In Zhytomyr region, the invaders took the lives of 15 children.
This was reported by Attorney General's office.
"As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as of the morning of March 18, 2022, 109 children were killed and more than 130 injured. Children were most affected in Kyiv - 55, Kharkiv - 34, Donetsk - 26, Chernihiv - 29, Mykolaiv - 20, Zhytomyr - 15, Sumy - 14, and Kherson regions - 14",- the message says.
The A.G.'s office also notes that as a result of bombing and shelling, more than 439 educational institutions were damaged, 63 of which were completely destroyed. Most of all damaged in Donetsk - 126, Kharkiv - 77, Mykolaiv - 39, Sumy - 32, Kyiv - 41, Kherson regions - 21 and the city of Kyiv - 35.
These data are not final due to the lack of opportunities to inspect the scene of the incident, where intense hostilities are taking place and in the temporarily occupied territories.
