As a result of enemy shelling in Zhytomyr region, two law enforcement officers were killed. Three others, including a representative of a public formation, were injured.
As reported by the police the victims are a 41-year-old police major Volodymyr Solodchuk, deputy head of police Sector No. 1 of the Korosten district police department and a 40-year-old police major Ivan Geraimchuk, response inspector of the patrol police of sector of police work of the Korosten DPD.
Both law enforcement officers served in the internal affairs agencies for more than 20 years, protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
