Acts of looting should be referred to international courts

Zhdanov added that first of all, the death penalty is used for their troops to keep them from committing crimes.
"Remember the armed conflicts where NATO member countries participated. We have not heard of, for example, American soldiers marauding and looting the local population. There was strict discipline, the soldiers did their military work," the military expert said.
Zhdanov also noted about looting by the invaders in Ukraine: "I think this is the mentality of the Russians. They want to live at someone else's expense, or make sure that others don't live better than them."
