Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration continues coordination of efforts of the military, police officers, veterans, business and social activists aimed at protection of the region during Russian invasion to Ukraine.

UPDATE:
Forces of territorial defense of the region – all five battalions (in every district and regional center) –
completely organized, deployed, received weapon and actively participate in all activities aimed at
strengthening defense capacity and protection of important objects and roads.
Checkpoints organized on the territory of Zhytomyr region. Their task is to complicate penetration of sabotage-reconnaissance units of the enemy to our built-up areas. For these reasons we apply to
representatives of business and residents of our region to provide all possible assistance to arrange
checkpoints and take care of servicemen who are guarding these checkpoints.
If you are stopped by the guards IT IS NECESSARY to stop the car, turn off the lights, turn on hazard
warning lights and show your ID documents to the guards keeping calm and answer their questions.
All objects of critical infrastructure and administrative buildings are working, equipped with additional security facilities and guarded by the military and police officers.
