During the fighting near the city of Shostka, Sumy region, a sergeant of the armed forces of Ukraine Natalia Hrystych, who originally came from Zhytomyr region, was killed.

"With indescribable sorrow we inform you that the war took away a brave and bright woman, defender of Ukraine, sergeant of the armed forces of Ukraine – Natalia Hrystych, born in 1977. She was killed by Russian invaders who inflicted a fatal blow during the bombing. Our fellow countryman died near the city of Shostka, Sumy region, where she served in an honorary military service for many years in a row",- the message says.
